Running since 2006, The Gridley Inn's Acoustic Desserts coffeehouse series features a musically diverse and culturally rich program encompassing Bluegrass, Folk, Ragtime, Celtic, Old Timey, and Jazz, to name a few musical genres. We're always excited about who's coming over--and hope you can make it out to Waterloo, NY...(or if you're a guest, c'mon downstairs) ...to enjoy acoustic music at it's finest.
Doors open at 6:30PM, Music is 7-9PM, no admission charge, (however tips are gratefully accepted.) Delectable desserts, coffee, tea, and other specialty beverages are available.
Our season is each Thursday, from January to May and in the past we've featured:
- Bristol Mountain Bluegrass (Traditional and Original Bluegrass)
- Jim Clare and Allen Hopkins (Folk raconteurs)
- Maria Gillard (wonderful, original, captivating - singer/songwriter)
- The Wastrels (Great Old Timey/Roots band from the heart of the Finger Lakes) &
- Andrew and Noah VanNorstrand Band (Fiddle, Accordian, Guitar and original songs)
...and sometimes our own host, Perry, may sit in with the band!
